How Our Network Works

Who You Talk To

You speak with an independent provider in our network. That business is local to the San Diego area and handles the work itself. Editsalt Pest Control connects you. We do not staff the job.

What Happens on the Call

Expect a short, practical conversation. The provider will usually ask:

  • What pest or animal you have seen
  • Where in the home you see it
  • How long it has been going on
  • Your home type, such as a slab ranch or a raised foundation

They may suggest an inspection. Many providers can respond quickly, but timing varies. Request a callback to check provider availability.

Before the Provider Arrives

A little prep helps the visit go smoothly. Jot down where and when you noticed signs. Take a few clear photos of droppings, bite marks, chewed wiring or damage. Keep pets and children away from the area in question. Make sure the provider can reach attics, crawl spaces, garages and under-sink cabinets. Write down any questions so you do not forget them in the moment.

What to Ask a Provider

Good questions save money and stress. Try these:

  • Are you licensed for this type of work in California?
  • What exactly will be treated, and what products are used?
  • Is the quote in writing, and what does it include?
  • Will you seal entry points, or only treat the pests?
  • What follow-up visits are included?
  • Are pets and children safe in the home after treatment?
  • Can you help document damage for an insurance claim?

Some policies may cover sudden damage. Check your policy for details.

You Are in Control

A request does not lock you in. You can compare quotes, ask for details and say no. There is no obligation. Treat the written quote as your reference point.

Protect the home by choosing a provider who explains the plan clearly. Be cautious of anyone who will not put the scope of work on paper.
